What kind of expertise should my system administrator possess to install and manage Celoxis?
Your administrator must be familiar with creating and managing your database and database users, creating accounts on your email server, taking backups of the database and files.
Do you help in installation/upgrades?
Our support team will assist you if you encounter difficulties during the installation or upgrade. However, we don't do the actual installation ourselves as the number of combinations of the platform and databases are too many for us to have hands-on experience.
What kind of support is provided?
Support is provided via email and takes one business day for a response. If we think that the issue can't be resolved via email, then we schedule on online chat in conjunction with an ssh or desktop access (via VNC or Remote Desktop).
Do you provide the source code?
No. Celoxis is a complex piece of software and has over half a million lines of code. Even if we did give out the source code, it will not be feasible for our customers to understand and enhance it, plus once we release upgrades it will be practically impossible to merge the two. We believe that our
API is the way to extend the application

Celoxis has been developed using Java and Java Servlets technology. The product is 100% web based.
