Celoxis can help the project manager budget project and tasks. During planning when resources are assigned to tasks, Celoxis computes the estimated cost for every task.
Estimated Task Cost = sum (Fixed cost + Estimated Material Cost + User Cost).- Fixed Cost
The fixed cost of a task as entered by you. Please see Adding/Editing Tasks (Section 8.8).
- Estimated Material Cost
This is the estimated material or non-labor cost for a task as entered by you. Please see Adding/Editing Tasks (Section 8.8).
- User Cost
Hours estimated to be spent by each resource (based on task durations and allocations) * user cost of each resource.
This estimated cost can be used as a guide while specifying task budget. The actual cost is automatically tracked against the budgeted amount to flag projects and tasks that are exceeding their budgets.

Specifying Task and Project Budget. Task and project budget can be entered on the edit task and edit project screen.
