You can customize Celoxis to suit your requirements. We highly recommend doing this to get the most benefit from the software.

Many user selectable options like columns, sort fields, sort order and filter/report choices are automatically saved where useful and maintained across log in sessions. Each user has their own preferences. As your preferences are maintained on the server, they are maintained independent of the computer used. |
- Customizing "My Home"
"My Home" is a page that allows you quick access to your projects, tasks, events and other information. It is similar to the home pages you find on many portal sites.
- Updating your profile and preferences
It is also important that you update your profile and preferences before starting to use Celoxis as this information is used by the application. For example, when a task is assigned to you an email will be sent to the address entered in Celoxis, the time zone information is used to display date and time of tasks, events and other items, the date format allows you to enter and view dates as per your preference and so on.
- Setting notification options
Celoxis sends email notifications for various events. For example, if you are a team member you will be notified when a task is assigned to a you, 24 hours before your task starts and so on. If you are a project manager you will receive notifications when the status of a task is updated, time entry is filled and so on. You can turn these and many other notifications on or off.
- Customizing the toolbar
You can even choose which items you wish to see the top menu and their order.
