Typically, while a project is being executed, team members meet once a week with their manager to go over the progress of the project. Most time in these meetings is spent understanding the problems rather than on proposing and discussing solutions.
Using the Status Updates feature of Celoxis, team members can log their progress into the application. Progress can be indicated with a percent complete and a comment. The manager is notified of all status updates via email. Thus, before the meeting everyone is aware of the progress and any show stoppers. This gives time for everyone to think of solutions in advance and make the meetings more productive.
