The very fact that a team works on a project means that they must share information. Celoxis offers different tools to share this information. The tools are intended to increase and facilitate easy collaboration with team members while maintaining all related information on-line for anytime anywhere access.
This is used to store project document that must be accessible to all team members. There is a special Client Folder that allows you to securey share documents with your project client.
These allow you to conduct project specific discussions. You create topics and discuss on them electronically. When a topic is created all team members receive an email with the topic details. Team members can simply reply to the email with their comments. Their comments are automatically filed under the respective topic in Celoxis and the comments are also emailed to other members. This is what we call the auto-filing feature and is unique to Celoxis. The entire discussion can be conducted via email without once logging in to Celoxis while Celoxis still maintains the full discussion on-line.
Files can be attached to tasks as well. This allows you to keep task related information with the task.
You can even send emails thorugh Celoxis. However, this is not a replacement for your email client. It is meant for task specific communication. As with forums, replies to the emails are automatically filed against the task.
These are like post-its.
Many activities involve talking to others on the phone. Phone logs allow you to make a note of the call details. While entering a phone log you can set a follow up reminder and the application will send you an email reminder on the specified date.
Each user has a personal calendar. You can use it to set up meetings (with invites), view project and task deadlines, enter vacation time.
