7.8. Controlling project features

Depending on the complexity of the projects you may not need features like sub-tasks, dependencies, time sheets, expenses, project financials, etc. You can disable features on a per project basis so that you are not prompted to enter information about them, nor is the information associated with those features displayed. This simplifies the user interface.

The following features can be disabled

  1. Sub Tasks

  2. Task Dependencies

  3. Project Budgeting, Costing, Estimation

  4. Time sheets

  5. Expenses

  6. Mails and Phone Call Logs

  7. Notes

  8. Project Forums

  9. Project Folder

  10. Task Folder

To disable features:

  1. Select the project for which you wish to disable features

  2. Select Enable/Disable Features from action pull down

  3. Select features you do not need and submit the form
